The right management of the solid residues leads to the improvement of the environment and contributes toa a sustainable development specially when taking into account the gaining in natural resources when applying the 3 R policy (Reduce, Recycle, Reutilize).

Society's participation is consolidated through programmes orientated to different publics, as a way of reinforcing information, and which are being used towards the changing in attitudes, In behaviours and in values prone to sustainable development.

The innovating factors that characterise this project are: the creation of green jobs; the active participation of the boroughs in general and of the elderly in particular while actors in the construction of the policy of the residues management and on the conservation of their own space; teaching the younger ones who show they have a deep respect for nature and show they can act on this issues.
